Original gouache on paper of landscape with winding river and birds. Ohio artist George Jensen.  
George Jensen was born in 1878 and died October 4, 1977.  He lived in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio but died in Wood County. A painter, as well as an art educator, he taught many students through various regional artists’ clubs as well as in private lessons into his own old age.  For ca. 20 years he worked as an illustrator for advertising and art firms in Cleveland and Toledo, with his work appearing in national and industrial magazines.He was an honorary life member of the Toledo Artists Club, and he work was exhibited in the Midwest as well as on the East Coast.
